Turkey NOTAMs

A Notice to Airmen, a.k.a. NOTAM, is a notice filed with an aviation authority to alert aircraft pilots of potential hazards along a flight route or at a location that could affect the safety of the flight.

CHARLIE

COMMUNICATION PROCEDURE

As by ICAO Documentation 9432 – manual of radiotelephony, a callsign shall be one of the following types:

  • The characters corresponding to the registration marking of the aircraft.
  • The telephony designator of the aircraft operating company or agency, followed by the last four characters of the registration marking of the aircraft.
  • The telephony designator of the aircraft operating company or agency, followed by the flight identification

On initial contact, pilot must spell his complete callsign, usually at the end of his message. Always pronounce each digit separately.

A pilot shall use his abbreviated callsign only after air traffic controller has taken the initiative.


BRAVO

Yurtdışına olacak askeri amaçlı uçuşlar, IVAO-TR Yönetim veya Özel Operasyonlar Departmanı'nın iznine tabidir. Bu kısıtlama Kıbrıs havasahasına olacak uçuşlar içinde geçerlidir.


ALPHA

REFERENCE TO THE PANS-ATM DOC 4444,THE FLIGHT CREW EXECUTING RNAV SIDS FOR ISTANBUL ATATURK AIRPORT SHALL BE AWARE OF THE REQUIREMENT AS STATED BELOW:

CLIMB CLEAREANCE ABOVE LEVELS SPECIFIED IN A SID:

"WHEN A DEPARTING AIRCRAFT ON A SID IS CLEARED TO CLIMB TO A LEVEL HIGHER THAN THE INITIALLY CLEARED LEVEL OR THE LEVEL(S) SPECIFIED IN A SID,THE AIRCRAFT SHALL FOLLOW THE PUBLISHED VERTICAL PROFILE OF A SID, UNLESS SUCH RESTRICTIONS ARE EXPLICITLY CANCELLED BY ATC."

THE CANCELATION OF THE LEVEL RESTRICTIONS DEPICTED ON THE SIDS WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE ATC CLEARANCE BY THE PHRASE OPEN CLIMB TO ALT/FL.
