NOTAM - GOLF 27th June 2018 has been cancelled.

Facility Rating Assignments have been updated for aerodromes located in Turkish territory according to rating structure published on IVAO with the following exceptions. (Except LTBA - Istanbul Ataturk Airport, LTAI - Antalya International Airport, LTFM - Istanbul Airport, LTAC - Ankara Esenboğa Airport, LTBJ - Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, LTBS - Dalaman Airport, LTFE - Bodrum Milas Airport and LTCG - Trabzon Airport).

• Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sectors,
• Advanced ATC Trainee (AS3) rating is required for Tower (TWR) sectors,
• ATC Applicant (AS1) and ATC Trainee (AS2) rating is required for Ground (GND) sectors,
• Highest ratings have been assigned to non-existent sectors to prevent unrealistic ATC services.

The following aerodromes are available to provide training opportunities for inexperienced members.

LTFM - Istanbul Airport: 

• Until 1600z Advanced ATC Trainee (AS3) rating is required for Tower (TWR) sector,
• Between 1600z - 2100z Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Tower (TWR) sector,

LTBA - Istanbul Ataturk Airport: 

• Until 1600z Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,
• Between 1600z - 2100z Approach Controller (APC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,

LTAI - Antalya International Airport: 

• Until 1600z Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,
• Between 1600z - 2100z Approach Controller (APC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,
• Until 1600z Advanced ATC Trainee (AS3) rating is required for Tower (TWR) sector,
• Between 1600z - 2100z Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Tower (TWR) sector,

LTAC - Ankara Esenboğa Airport: 

• Until 1600z Advanced ATC Trainee (AS3) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,
• Between 1600z - 2100z Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,

LTBJ - Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport: 

• Until 1600z Advanced ATC Trainee (AS3) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,
• Between 1600z - 2100z Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector,

LTBS - Dalaman Airport, LTFE - Bodrum Milas Airport, LTCG - Trabzon Airport:

• Aerodrome Controller (ADC) rating is required for Approach (APP) sector.

The following NOTAM, published by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority, is also in effect within the Istanbul Airspace on IVAO Turkey Division. Therefore, all pilots are expected to act in accordance with this following NOTAM:​

ISTANBUL ATATURK AIRPORT (LTBA):
AS OF 06 APRIL 2019 11:01, 
LTBA RWY 05 OR RWY 23 WILL BE USED AS 
PREFERENTIAL RWY,
ALL THE DATA PUBLISHED IN AIP AD 2 
LTBA CONCERNING RWYS 17L/35R AND 17R/35L ARE SUSPENDED

Facility Rating Assignment (FRA) procedures have been updated and are in effect.
