VIRTUAL AVIATION AND IVAO TURKEY DIVISION

Virtual Aviation is the virtual flight activities performed by simulating different
tasks in the Internet or a local network environment such as piloting, air traffic
controller or simulating different tasks of real aviation environment. The
difference in flying using the online simulator is that they are asked to make
connections, provided that the rules determined while performing these
hobbies are followed by all users.

These rules are applied within virtual aviation organizations such as IVAO,

where users come together on the internet. By connecting to the relevant
"servers" in the role of pilot or air traffic controller with software published by
these organizations or some other companies, it is possible to work in the air
and traffic control area virtually from anywhere in the world in the same
network environment with other users.

IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organization), one of the two largest

organizations in the world when it comes to online virtual aviation, was
established in Belgium in 1998 as an association. Our friend Erol Baştürk was
also among the founders. Subsequently Turkey Department (division) was
formed by Erim Funda (DIR) and Erol Baştürk (ADIR). Turkish Division is 10th witihin
the 99 countries and total of 550 thousand members of network reaching the
5693 membership of 623 active in total.

October 2018, has transferred their duties to Serdar Özden (DIR) and İbrahim
Karakaya (ADIR) as of November 2020. I wish them success on this occasion.
Dear aviation enthusiasts, with this beautiful hobby, which we try to do by
sparing time from our business, we made good friends from all over the world,
and even met in our private, we had a pleasant time. I hope our enjoyment
