Turkey NOTAMs

A Notice to Airmen, a.k.a. NOTAM, is a notice filed with an aviation authority to alert aircraft pilots of potential hazards along a flight route or at a location that could affect the safety of the flight.

HOTEL

NOTAM HOTEL - APRIL 6TH 2019

The following NOTAM, published by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority, is also in effect within the Istanbul Airspace on IVAO Turkey Division. Therefore, all pilots are expected to act in accordance with this following NOTAM:​

ISTANBUL ATATURK AIRPORT (LTBA):
AS OF 06 APRIL 2019 11:01, 
LTBA RWY 05 OR RWY 23 WILL BE USED AS 
PREFERENTIAL RWY,
ALL THE DATA PUBLISHED IN AIP AD 2 
LTBA CONCERNING RWYS 17L/35R AND 17R/35L ARE SUSPENDED

4 Şubat 2016 tarihinden yayınlanan AIP gereği, Türkiye havasahasında CTR - ACC pozisyonlarında görev alan ATC'ler (LTBB FIR dahil) hizmet verecekleri sektörlerde "ANKARA KONTROL" radyo çağrı adını kullanacaklardır. "İSTANBUL KONTROL" radyo çağrı adı kullanılmayacaktır.

According to latest AIP published on 4 Feb 2016, all ATCs serving in Turkish Airspace as CTR - ACC positions, will use radio callsing "ANKARA CONTROL" in their sectors (including LTBB FIR). "ISTANBUL CONTROL" radio callsign will not be used anymore.
